The incident took place northbound around 2:20 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, in Purdys, when the vehicle rolled over the side of I-684 just south of Exit 7, jumped the guardrail and landed on its roof on Route 22, said state police.
State Department of Transportation officials said Route 22 is closed in both directions near the crash site. They expect the roadway to be closed for "a while" to allow for an investigation, the guardrail to be replaced and for the vehicle to be removed.
The driver reportedly received non-life-threatening injuries.
